Cascadia Skills

Digital Workers define who performs the work. Skills define how that work is performed repeatedly, safely, and well. A skill is a reusable, governed unit of ability that allows one or more Digital Workers to perform a bounded type of work.

Examples of skills

Search approved knowledge. Verify customer identity. Classify an incoming request. Retrieve a CRM record. Compare policy documents. Schedule an appointment. Draft an email. Summarize a meeting. Create a project ticket. Validate a software change. Produce an executive status update. Escalate a policy exception. Each of these is a reusable, governed unit of ability.

The Cascadia Engineering Loop

Skills turn a Digital Worker from a role definition into an operational participant. The Engineering Loop composes skills into workflows, observes their outcomes, and refines them with operating evidence — so skill quality improves with every cycle.
