Concept
Workflows
Skills describe what a Digital Worker can do. Workflows describe how people, Digital Workers, skills, tools, and decisions move together from trigger to business outcome.
From trigger to outcome
A customer-service request may require identity verification, account lookup, knowledge retrieval, response generation, policy review, escalation, record update, and follow-up. A software release may require requirements validation, design review, implementation, test execution, security review, human approval, deployment, monitoring, and rollback readiness. A workflow coordinates these steps — and each step remains observable.
Why coordination matters
Capabilities are useful individually, but business outcomes rarely depend on one capability alone. A workflow is a governed sequence of work that connects a business trigger, the appropriate Digital Workers, the skills they will use, the approvals they require, and the evidence they will produce.
